How to add tracking codes, classes, or categories as rows in your reports

On the Reports page, select the report you would like the Tracking Codes on, select ‘Edit’ and then select ‘Edit Report’.

From here, ensure you are on the ‘Rows’ view and click towards the bottom of the screen that says ‘Click to Start’.

Tracking Codes or Classes can be applied to any single account or group of accounts (Financial Category, Group or SubGroup, as created on the “Configure P&L, BS” page) in ScaleXP for reporting purposes.  See How to configure your P&L and Balance Sheet in ScaleXP (single company).

Search in the box for an option you'd like to report on, select it then click ‘Done’.

Once you have added the group or account for which you wish to report by tracking code/category, click the cog to select the category (or categories) you would like to use. You can select as many as you would like.

Once selected, click ‘Done’ and this will now populate that row filtered to include only the selected categories selected.

Use the “T” button to rename the row to indicate the category included.

Ensure you click 'Save' at the top right to complete the report.
