To report department or project costs using Xero Tracking Codes or QuickBooks Classes, ensure you have the Tracking Codes or Classes report set up in reports. See How to report on Xero Tracking Codes or Quick Books Classes in ScaleXP
Then upload separate budgets for each department or project. See How to add a budget or forecast
Copy the Tracking Codes/Classes report (once for each department or project) and rename it for the relevant department or project.
Select the relevant budget for comparisons.
Save the report. This is now available for use in the next reporting period as well.
