How to add a ranked customer list ("top 10", "top 20", etc) to your Dashboard or Presentation

You can add a ranked list of customers to any Dashboard or Presentation.

This will automatically sort from largest to smallest in value terms and can include monetary value, percent of total, or both.

You can do this for any report on the Customers tab and for any of the summary categories seen there:

  • Active Customers
  • New Customers
  • Lost Customers
  • Upgraded Customers
  • Downgraded Customers
  • Reactivated Customers

To add a ranked customer chart, go to Dashboards in ScaleXP and select “New Chart”.

Then select “Create new chart” and select “Largest Customers,” then “Create” button.

You will see a default draft chart on the right and a selection of options in the left sidebar.

In the left sidebar, select the criteria for your chart.

Here you can select

  • Chart name (and, next to it, bar colour if bar chart is selected)
  • Number of customers (10, 20, 30 or 40)
  • Data type (MRR for total revenue or MRR, or Lost, New, Reactivated, Downgraded)
  • Data source – choose the Report name (this will also define the customer data such as MRR, Revenue, or ARR)
  • Data to be displayed - choose monetary amount, percent of category total for the month, or both.

You can also choose to show this data in either table or graph form.  Use the selector at the top right of the chart to change the format to a bar chart rather than a table.

When bar chart is selected, use the colour selector next to the Chart Name Editor to change the colour of the bars.

Note: Currently this data is only available one month at a time.
