This feature needs to be enabled to be visible - please contact support@scalexp.com if you can not see the Tracking Code option in your prepaid expense settings.

To set up tracking codes or classes for inclusion in your prepaid costs journal, go to the Prepaid Cost Journal settings in Journals (top tab) > PREPAID EXPENSES > Prepaid Expenses Journal (or any expenses page)> Settings (cog at top right).

You will then have the option to use Tracking Codes or Classes in your journal.

In Settings, select the type of tracking codes or classes that you wish to include in your journals. Then Save. See screenshots below.

Once you have selected your tracking codes or classes, ScaleXP will automatically propose journals including those designations, based on the information used in your invoiced revenue in the accounting system.

Note that changes to tracking codes or classes must be done via your accounting system. Once synced with ScaleXP, changes to invoices will automatically update in ScaleXP along with suggested journals.

If you don't see the Tracking Codes or Classes option in your cost journal settings, please contact support@scalexp.com to have this feature enabled. Note that once set, only ScaleXP admin can make changes to the selections made.
