To rename detailed data in a chart or graph or report, rename it where it is stored in ScaleXP as described below.
How do I rename data in a chart or graph or report?
- For most data, you can rename the data series directly in the chart or report. For charts, go to Dashboards (top bar)> three dots (top right of the chart to be edited)>Configure Chart.

- For reports, go to Reports (top bar)>Edit (top right)>Edit Report.

Accounts:
- If the data comes from the P&L go to Reports (top bar) > P&L (any P&L Report from the left sidebar)> Edit (top right) > Edit Report > Configure base Profit & Loss (near top middle).
- If the data comes from the Balance Sheet, go to Reports (top bar) > Balance Sheet (any Balance Sheet Report from the left sidebar)> Edit (top right) > Edit Report > Configure base Balance Sheet (near top middle).
To rename data entered manually into ScaleXP:
- If the data has been entered into the system manually, go to Load Data (top bar)>Manual Entry (left sidebar)>Rename (pencil icon for group name or three dots, Rename for item in the group).
To rename a metric or custom defined formula:
- Go to Settings (top bar)>Metrics library and use the search bar (top right) or scroll down to find the metric you wish to change.
